Frequently asked questions
The Colorado Springs real estate market can be complicated. Take a minute to review the FAQ below to answer a few common questions
Should I talk with a lender before looking at homes?
Yes, you should talk to a lender prior to looking for a home to determine how much you can qualify for. How much your payment will be and how much your interest will be. We have many lenders we can recommend to you for the quickest and best rates.
Should I buy or continue to rent?
If you have good credit you should always buy instead of rent. When you are renting you are paying someone else’s mortgage allowing them to make money off of you. It would be better to buy and you make equity on your own home. It’s like having a savings account.
Can I find a rent-to-own property?
In some markets it is possible. This market now is not good to find a rent to own home.
Do I really need a Realtor when buying a home?
Every buyer needs representation when buying a home. The seller pays the buyers agent that represents the buyer. So it doesn’t cost you anything as a buyer. There are contracts and other information that a experienced agent can help you with.
